Raphael Miles

Raphael began his singing career as a youth singing in church. His debut with the gospel sounds of the Holloway Community Singers. As he continued to further his career he received inspiration via his Aunt's singing group. By observing their harmonious sounds afforded him the opportunity to fine tune his vocals... And the rest is ... History!
His other inspirations include legends, Stevie Wonder, Sammie Davis Jr. Phillip Bailey lead vocalist of Earth Wind and Fire and of course,... The Temptations.
As he began to further his career he formulated two singing groups, "The Keys of Love" and then "The Presidents Council Band." The Council toured cross-country for a five year span, behind sharing the stage which such great acts as Lolita Holloway, the Saul Soul Orchestra, Brass Construction, CJ and Company, Enchantment, The Emotions, and Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes. Raphael returned home and began performing with the group "Heaven and Earth" as a percussionist and background vocalist. Touring with this group gave him an opportunity to share the stage with George Clinton, The O'Jays, Don Cornelius (from the TV show Soul Train), Linda Clifford, Main Ingredient, Blue Magic and Peabo Bryson.
Raphael then began to perform as an independent artist which projected him into the corporate entertainment area.
His recent singing achievements afforded him the opportunity to use his acting, and singing ability as one of the Sultry Singing Men of Soul, a musical production, where he used his talents to bring to life the legendary Marvin Gaye
